Buying and selling

Check the item carefully and confirm that its condition matches the listing.
Be cautious when a price is unusually low or the other person creates unnecessary urgency.
For valuable items, meet in a safe public place and avoid carrying unnecessary cash.

Payments and money

Confirm who you are paying and what the payment is for before sending money.
Do not rely only on screenshots or messages claiming that a transfer was completed.
Avoid advance payments to unknown people unless you have independently verified the arrangement.

Jobs and recruitment

Research the employer and verify contact information before sharing sensitive documents.
